Michael A. Coscia is a partner at Abrams Fensterman, LLP.
Mr. Coscia was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where he attended and graduated from St. John’s University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He continued his education at Brooklyn Law School where he received his Juris Doctor in 1986.
Mr. Coscia was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1986 and the New Jersey State Bar in 1987. Following his admission Mr. Coscia was employed with the accounting firm of Pete Marwick and Main from 1986 to 1988 in their tax department where he worked on various tax consulting matters and tax planning aspects for major Fortune 500 companies. In 1988 Mr. Coscia joined the firm of the Law Offices of Samuel Cantor as an associate. In 1993 he became a partner in the firm and in 1996 he formed the Firm of Cantor Coscia & Schustal, LLP where he served as Managing Partner until joining Abrams Fensterman.
Mr. Coscia specializes in Matrimonial and Family Law where he has handled all aspects of custody and equitable distribution matters. He also practices in the areas of Real Estate, Litigation, Business Transactions and Estate matters.
With a strong community background Mr. Coscia has been a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association, and the Columbian Lawyers Association.
