Alex Leibson

Alex Leibson is a Partner at Abrams Fensterman, LLP.

Mr. Leibson is a member of the litigation practice group with particular concentration in the commercial arena. In addition to commercial litigation, Mr. Leibson provides counsel and guidance to entertainers, musicians and record labels. For his entertainment clients Mr. Leibson negotiates endorsement deals, merchandising agreements, film production agreements, copyright assignment agreements, sponsorship deals, and recording agreements.

In addition, Mr. Leibson also provides legal guidance relating to intellectual property. He has worked with merchandising companies such as Bravado in creating and protecting client’s trademarks and/or copyright material for recording artists such as Justin Bieber. Mr. Leibson is a published author in such periodicals as the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Journal.

Mr. Leibson has experience representing clients in Estates matters in which a will has been admitted to probate.

Furthermore, Mr. Leibson has experience defending physicians and other health care providers in a wide range of litigation matters. He is responsible for defending physicians in all the medical malpractice defense cases of the firm.

Mr. Leibson has been selected as a “Rising Star” in New York Business Litigation Law by “Super Lawyers” since 2015. Each year, no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

Mr. Leibson received his JD from the New York Law School where he was an active member of the Moot Court Association. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and New Jersey.
