This National Women’s Hall of Fame Forum event will spotlight the book, Ordinary Injustice: How America Holds Court, by Amy Bach, and feature a panel of women who can speak on the subject of injustice in the American judicial system. Participants are not required to purchase a book for this program, however it can be an educational resource for those that would like to learn more on the topic.

 

Panelists will be:

  • Amy Bach, author of Ordinary Injustice
  • Professor Sarah Deer, Esq, NWHF Inductee, Professor and renowned author, activist and champion for the rights of indigenous women
  • Shani Mitchell Esq. is a lifelong public servant and has spent many years as a prosecutor in Rochester and in Atlanta
  • Mridula Raman Esq. joins from Berkeley Law’s Death Penalty Clinic after five years as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Capital Habeas Unit of the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the District of Arizona.
