Amanda Povman Porgess is an associate at Abrams Fensterman, LLP in the firm’s Brooklyn office. Ms. Porgess practices in the fields of both matrimonial and family law.
Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Ms. Porgess interned at a boutique matrimonial law firm in New York City and for the New York City Law Department in its Juvenile Delinquency Division.
Ms. Porgess received her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Maryland, where she graduated magna cum laude, and received her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she graduated with a concentration in family and children’s law.
In law school, Ms. Porgess was an active member of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice and served on the journal’s board.
Ms. Porgess is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
