Ferris Kim

Ferris Kim is a senior associate at Abrams Fensterman, LLP.

Ms. Kim presently practices exclusively in the areas of matrimonial and family law. After graduating from Brooklyn Law School in 2013, Ms. Kim worked for one of AF’s current Executive Partners, RoseAnn C. Branda, at her prior boutique firm Caruso, Caruso, & Branda, P.C., practicing matrimonial and family law. She then worked for the New York City Administration for Children’s Services (“ACS”) in both ACS’s Family Court Legal Services division, prosecuting numerous civil child abuse and neglect trials in Kings County Family Court, and ACS’s Office of General Counsel, representing ACS in administrative fair hearings pursuant to Social Services Law Sections 422 and 424-a. After her time at ACS, Ms. Kim was admitted to the California State Bar and practiced high net worth contested trust and estate litigation in Los Angeles, California before returning to New York State and joining Abrams Fensterman, LLP.

Ms. Kim earned her juris doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, where she served as President of the Asian and Pacific American Law Students Association (“APALSA”) her 2L year and earned the Student Leader of the Year award from Brooklyn Law School’s Student Bar Association in 2012. Ms. Kim also received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 2010, where she graduated with Dean’s List honors and was recognized by the NYU President’s Association for her contributions to and work with an on-campus human rights organization in 2013.

Ms. Kim was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2014 and to the State of California in 2022. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association Family Law Committee and the Asian American Bar Association of New York.
