Garrett Elias is an Associate at Abrams Fensterman, LLP, working out of the Firm’s Long Island office in the Healthcare Reimbursement and Recovery practice.
Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Garrett had his own practice, where he specialized in Bankruptcy, Debt Resolution, and cases under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. He also worked for a law firm in Princeton, NJ specializing in employment law and the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.
Garrett is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Law, where he was a member of the school’s trial advocacy team, reaching the semi-final round of a mock trial competition. At Syracuse University College of Law, where Garrett attended his first year of law school, he was invited to join the Journal of International Law and Commerce. Garrett earned his undergraduate degree at New York University, with a double major in History and Political Science.
Garrett is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. He is also admitted to practice at the Federal Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, and the District of Connecticut.
