Jennifer Santaniello Thomas is Of Counsel at Abrams Fensterman, LLP.
Ms. Santaniello Thomas’s practice consists of private wealth preservation, private wealth transfer, and trust and estate administration. This encompasses complex estate planning, transfer taxation planning, estate and business succession planning, and asset protection planning.
Ms. Santaniello Thomas was awarded a scholarship to St. John’s University School of Law where she served on the New York International Law Review and earned her Juris Doctor as a Dean’s List graduate. Ms. Santaniello Thomas earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the State University at Albany.
Ms. Santaniello Thomas is co-author of the published book entitled “For New York Doctors”, a guide to asset protection, tax reduction, practice and wealth management. Ms. Santaniello Thomas has also co-authored the article entitled “There’s a Reason It’s the POWER of Attorney” which was published in the New York State Bar Association Journal.
Ms. Santaniello Thomas has been designated a 2012 “Rising Star – 40 Under 40” awarded by the Queens Courier Newspapers. In addition, Ms. Santaniello was selected to the New York Rising Stars list from 2013 – 2017. Each year, no more than 2.5% of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
Ms. Santaniello Thomas frequently provides lectures to numerous groups and professional associations on topics such as transfer tax planning and asset protection planning.
