As a Registered Nurse and former Deputy Director of the Office of Health Systems Management (OHSM) at the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), she has extensive expertise in healthcare policy, regulatory compliance, and program oversight.

• Policy and Budget Expertise: Lisa continues to serve as a Trustee of Northern Rivers, servicing children, adults and families in 41 counties. She is former long-time trustee of the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center. Lisa serves as Executive Director of the NYS Ambulatory Cardiovascular Society, the NYS Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and the NYS Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. Based on her outstanding expertise in long term care, she was also designated by the New York State Attorney General as the first independent quality monitor in New York State to oversee quality improvement at a long-term care facility. She has since been appointed to serve in that important role at another long-term care facility by the NYS Supreme Court, recognizing her ability to improve quality and operations to ensure the health and safety of residents.
