Lake Success, NYAbrams Fensterman proudly announces that Carolyn Reinach Wolf, Executive Partner and Director of the firm’s Mental Health Law practice, has been named a 2025 Health Care Hero by Long Island Business News in the Mental Health category, as part of an awards program celebrating innovation, excellence and unwavering dedication to the well-being of the community.

Long Island Business News created the Health Care Heroes awards to honor individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the quality of health care on Long Island. The recognition for Ms. Wolf reinforces the crucial legal and advocacy efforts she has long championed, both on Long Island and in communities nationwide.

Ms. Wolf is nationally recognized as a pioneer in mental health law. As one of the very few attorneys in the United States with a family-focused mental healthcare practice—complete with wrap-around services like case management and interventions—she has dedicated her career to providing guidance and support to families of individuals in crisis, helping them navigate the legal complexities of our mental healthcare system.

Ms.Wolf reflected on the award with appreciation for her group’s tireless efforts:

“Family members who, day-after-day, devote themselves to the health and wellbeing of loved ones with serious mental health issues and substance use disorders are doing some of the most difficult, stressful caregiving work imaginable. I dedicate this award to all such caregivers in recognition of their ongoing dedication and sacrifice.”

Ms. Wolf will be celebrated alongside other distinguished honorees at the 2025 Health Care Heroes awards breakfast taking place on February 28 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. The event will feature opportunities for networking and a program honoring the recipients.
