Increase in Medicaid Limits

As of January 1, 2023, the Medicaid income limit will increase to $1,563.00 for and individual and $2,106.00 for a couple. This is a significant increase from the current levels and you may be able to keep more of your monthly income. If you utilize a pooled income trust that allowed you to qualify for Medicaid and or Supplemental Security Income, please contact our office to address how these changes will affect you.

 

Similarly, the Medicaid Medically Needy resource level for SSI related individuals will also increase for an individual from $ 16,800 ($24,600 for a couple) to $28,133 ($37,902 for a couple).
