Hofstra Law Alumna and Abrams Fensterman Partner & Co-Chair of the Corporate and Securities Law Practice, Vivian Breier, served as a judge for the Hofstra Law Dispute Resolution Society’s Negotiation Competition held at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law. The event brought together law students to showcase their skills in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. Competitors were evaluated based on their performance in simulated disputes, offering a practical application of dispute resolution techniques.
This competition plays a significant role in preparing law students for real-world legal challenges by focusing on essential skills like client advocacy and negotiation. Vivian’s expertise in negotiations provided invaluable insights for budding attorneys. Some of the luminaries in attendance included:
