Robert A. Spolzino has been appointed a member of the Committee on Governance (COG) by the Board of Trustees of the American Hospital Association (AHA). Spolzino provided a statement to the Westchester & Fairfield County Business Journals about the prestigious appointment. With extensive experience in healthcare, and a 35-year career as an attorney, Spolzino hopes to use his knowledge to support ongoing advocacy and policy work of the committee. He has served in various healthcare-related positions, including chair of the Board of Governors of Health Care Trustees of New York State and member of the Board of Overseers of Northwell Health. As a former justice on New York’s highest court, he has decided over 4,000 appeals and 10,000 appellate motions during his tenure.
