Our appellate team is led by two former appellate judges, Bob Spolzino and Jeffrey Cohen. Both served as Justices of the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court. Between them, they have decided more than 10,000 appeals. Justices Spolzino and Cohen work with the former Counsel to the Chief Judge of the State of New York, Lisa Florio, who manages the appellate practice; a former clerk to two judges of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Daniel Alter; and a former clerk to Judge Michael Garcia of the New York Court of Appeals, Aaron Zucker.
